Kristina Bobbi Brown's partner ruled against in lawsuit

Maryland fans of the late Kristina Bobbi Brown may be interested in the outcome of the civil lawsuit filed by the conservator of her estate. The action, filed after the 22-year-old was moved to hospice care after sustaining brain damage and remaining in a coma, has been won by the estate by default.

Kristina Bobbi Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, passed away in hospice care in July 2015. Six months prior to her death, she was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta home. Brown's partner, while not criminally charged, has been accused by her estate of being responsible for his girlfriend's untimely death. He has been accused of giving Brown a harmful mixture of morphine, cocaine, and prescription medications and subsequently placing her face-down in the tub, resulting in brain damage.

The judge in the case ruled in favor of Brown's estate in mid-September, stating that Brown's partner had failed to meet court deadlines repeatedly. His last lawyer reportedly removed himself from the case in November 2015. The wrongful death lawsuit sought $50 million in damages, but a jury is set to determine the actual amount owed to the estate.
